· In case of initial inspection, (3) hours per elevator. · In case of final delivery, (6-7) hours per elevator.

Procedures

1. Referring to the Institution and filling out the form for an initial inspection of elevators.

2. After setting the date for the initial inspection of the elevator and after testing it and verifying its conformity with all the required standards, the Electricity Company is addressed in order to make the necessary electrical connections to the elevator.

3. After verifying the elevator’s conformity with all the required standards in the Jordanian Standard by conducting all the required tests, the importing company is addressed in order to place the elevator in public usage.

Required Documents

· A formal letter from the sales tax stating that the due sales tax has been paid on the elevator. · A general chart of the site where the elevator is to be installed
